OSCARS 2014: LUPITA NYONG’O STUNS, WINNING BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS AT THE ACADEMY AWARDS.

Winning Best Supporting Actress at the 2014 Oscars, Lupita Nyong'o fulfilled her dream and countless little girls' goals when she accepted her golden statue with an inspiring speech that was sweet and humble.

Clad in a voluminous pleated gown by Prada, the exquisite 12 Years A Slave star was a true-blue stunner in a powdery pastel with a plunging neckline. But it was her words that truly shined.

"It doesn't escape me for one moment that so much joy in my life is thanks to so much pain in someone else's," Nyong'o said in her Oscar acceptance speech.

"When I look down at this golden statue may it remind me and every little child that no matter where you're from your dreams are valid," the actress added.

The 31-year-old Kenyan beauty from Mexico City has won our hearts and minds over the last eight weeks. Take a look at some of her exquisite gowns from recent award shows.
